Thank you to those of you who brought in your sweaters for display. They are beautiful works of art. We will let you know when we can get together for show and tell. We'd like to wait until Larry is able to come in for a picture. If you want to leave your sweaters here, feel free to do so.
Sock Dying
We had a grand time dying sock blanks. I went for a Harry Potter theme for my granddaughter and the yarn turned out great!
Tea Time
Knit a tea cozy and enter it for a prize... Work on your cozy during the month of August. Tea Cozies will be displayed starting September 1. Come in and vote for your favorite cozy between September 1-11. Winners will be announced at a "tea" on September 12 at 11:00.
Aid For Friends Afghan

We are really excited about how fast our afghan is growing. If you haven't donated yet get out your scraps and knit us an 8" square of any color. It does need to be a washable wool, however. We know this blanket is going to go to good use this winter. |
