Claudia has been knitting since she was a teenager. Her great-grandmother Annie taught her to crochet lace when she was a young girl and knitting seemed to be the next step in her needlework education. Unfortunately, she had no one to teach her and so she taught herself. Fifty years later she would like to think her skills have improved along with her passion for all things textile.

Claudia is a working artist and adjunct instructor in the Education Department at Idaho State University. She loves to hang out with her granddaughters and spending time with her children is a priority. Although none of her 5 grandsons knit there is still time to learn.
