April Clark had crocheted for many years. She enjoys visiting Mustard Seed Dreams Yarn Boutique with her mother. April accompanied her mom who was taking Larry McCarthy’s Christmas Stocking class. April watched Larry knit, as she herself crocheted and unbeknownst to anyone, silently learned. At home, April took her mom’s knitting needles and asked her to cast on stitches saying she wanted to knit. After being shown a few times how to cast on, April began knitting. She has knit many squares that her mom has turned into an afghan! What an inspiration to all of us, and a proud moment for April!
April is one of those young women who just make you smile. She recently told me about her new dog, Bertandernie. I giggled for days. April, you make our hearts sing.
